"Let’s stop controlling men with our bodies. Let’s stop controlling our families with threats of abandonment. Let’s stop striving for power, self-sufficiency and independence. Let’s do away with this thinking that we don’t need men, we don’t need our absent fathers, we don’t need complicated relationships with our siblings or significant others. We need to let go of control!"
